The plan to create a safe and comforting environment was ideal since their mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis. She's in first phase of the disease, and still maintains an independent lifestyle. The Aurora Floorplan allows you to have a separate living space for your loved one. It's a home within a home, with a separate entrance and walkway; including a private kitchen, dining and living area; bedroom and a private full bath. Independent living and long-term care facilities can be expensive. Lake Weir Living may offer an exceptional, affordable alternative when you don't want Mom or Dad to live alone. "I knew I was going to be caring for my Mom a long time ago. This is how I grew up. My great aunt took care of my great grandma; my mom took care of my grandma, and now I will do the same for my mom. I'm creating what was created for me; a sense of family and support with all the love that comes with it. All my siblings will share in Mami's care. Family, love, and support is what we learned as children. My Mami (and Papi) planted the seeds, now she'll be able to harvest."
